"Vacant"

It's been a while since Vice had to use his rifle. And he's really not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

"You know," Sundry says, "It's been a while since we had to use our guns."

"Yeah, I was just thinking about that," Vice replies.

"You think that's a good thing?" asks Sundry.

"Hard to say."

"Yeah."

Sundry looks down at the Remington across his lap. It's not even loaded right now; keeping it so would just be a liability at this point.

"It's nice to be able to save ammo," Sundry notes. Vice hums.

"Totally unrelated," says Vice, "But have you heard about the offices?"

"Offices?"

"Yeah, the offices," Vice explains, "I overheard Popoquan talking to someone about it. Apparently there are some office buildings in Saint Louis where the interiors are just... endless."

"Really?"

"Yeah, a lot like those 'dupes' you've seen."

Sundry shivers. He hates dupes. Those spots in a building where a room just decides to duplicate itself across the hallway or at the next door. He has no clue what would happen if someone were to go in, but he sure as shit doesn't want to be the one to make the discovery.

Without a word, he gets up with Vice following suit. Destination in mind, the boys walk on.
